Having four beds is a huge plus for family travel. We were very tired, so having our own bed helped us sleep better. The hotel bathrooms were all clean. While it might be close to Orchard Road, our schedule prevented us from going there.We were grateful for the complimentary tangerines we received to celebrate the New Year. Thank you.

This was our 1st time staying at YWCA Fort Canning. All staff services were incredibly helpful and friendly.
The hotel location is good, 15 mins to the mall and train station, and 5 mins across the hotel to Singapore's most *Famous historical garden* - Fort Canning.
My 82 year old mum and I stay here on our twice yearly visits to Singapore. She likens it to a ‘home from home’. It is ideally situated for the city centre and easily walkable to Dhoby Gaut MRT station and Plaza Singapura mall. The rooms are spotless and spacious and there is a quiet well sized pool.
Of course the jewel in the crown is the whole team from reception, the maintenance crew, house keeping and security. Nothing was too much trouble and we very much appreciated their professionalism , kindness and attention to detail . If budget allows I would highly recommend paying a bit extra for the rooms with a park view.
The hotel is very close to the public transport station and is very convenient to travel. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Not only will they volunteer to help press the elevator, but they will also offer an umbrella when it rains, and it's convenient to store your luggage.
I had a wonderful vacation staying at YWCA Fort Canning in Jan 2026. The room was spacious enough to comfortably open two suitcases at the same time, and the beds were very comfortable. The location is a major plus, with easy access to nearby bus stops and MRT stations, making it very convenient to get around.
