Founded in 1875, the Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) of Singapore is a social service agency committed to serving those in need, regardless of race or religion. Our holistic programmes and services aim to empower and support women from low-income families by alleviating financial burdens and care-giving responsibilities. We strive to uplift the family unit, and to provide the right resources and opportunities to improve lives.
YWCA’s community service programmes are supported by YWCA Fort Canning, our revenue-generating arm in hospitality. All net proceeds contribute towards our social initiatives such as Empowering Mums, Meals-on-Wheels, and Sustenance for Families.

We are featured in Blissful Brides for going beyond vows and standing out as a place where these weddings serve a greater purpose.
Charity Art Wall @ Café Lodge
The YWCA Charity Art Wall at YWCA Fort Canning's Café Lodge is a platform for YWCA to support budding regional artists, especially women artists based in Singapore. These artists, with a heart for charity, have committed to donating their art for fundraising purposes. Proceeds will be used to support YWCA's community service programme.
A Little Goes a Long Way
Everyone can help someone.
One of our fellow co-workers went back to his hometown in Chennai and brought along donations collected from our team leaders at the office. Our humble donation meant that many in his village had a full meal that day and many families could fill up their rice buckets and children don't have to go to bed hungry.
